LAKUSTA MOVES TO LEADERSHIP POSITION AT KELLER WILLIAMS
Keller Williams Dallas Metro North office in Flower Mound is pleased to announce that long time Realtor and community leader Anne Lakusta has accepted the position as Market Center Team Leader.
Lakusta brings to her new position tremendous experience and expertise in the industry, along with extensive involvement in the community. She has 14 years of real estate experience in our area and most recently headed The Anne Lakusta Team with its 4 licensed agents, listing coordinator and marketing assistant. Lakusta was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2004 and in 2007 was recognized for Platinum Club level production. Anne Lakusta served on the Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees from 1994 – 2003, and as its President from 1998 – 2003. Lakusta was on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County from 2004 – 2008, and was the Capital Campaign chair from 2007-2008. Lakusta is an active member of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce and St. Ann’s Church in Coppell. With her BA degree in Economics from Wake Forest University and most recently completing her designation as a Certified Distressed Property Expert, Lakusta is uniquely qualified to lead the Keller Williams team. “It is an honor, a privilege and an exciting challenge to step into a leadership position for the #1 real estate office in southeast Denton County in 2008. Anne and her husband Mike have been married for 28 years and have lived in Flower Mound, TX since 1991. Mike is a Vice President of Glazers Distributing. Anne & Mike are currently serving as the chairs of the Champions for Children Gala to benefit the Children's Advocacy Center for Denton County. They have 2 sons. The oldest, Patrick, resides in Pensacola, FL and is in flight school for the US Navy. Patrick is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and has his master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. Their second son, Jeffrey, is a junior at the University of Notre Dame and is pursuing his degree in Science Business with an emphasis in marketing. Jeffrey recently returned from a semester in London serving as a Parliamentary Intern. Both Lakusta and the Keller Williams office will continue their commitment to community service and look forward to retaining their position as leaders in the business community. “The business of real estate, and supporting expertise, is of particular interest to everyone right now, and I believe that we have a unique opportunity to make sure that both our business and residential community members know the true facts about our area and its real estate – and believe me, there is much good news!
